Emmerdale fans are bracing themselves for harrowing times ahead for the long suffering Dingle clan – with many expecting that the end could be nigh for Cain, Debbie or even both following recent events which saw the death of Joe Tate.
Debbie is currently oblivious to the fact that Joe is dead but is already facing a traumatic goodbye as she could be potentially jailed for up to four years in her upcoming acid attack trial. Debbie is so convinced that she will be locked up that she has already made arrangements with Cain and Moira for them to look after the kids if she does go down.
But its not just Debbie who could be facing an Emmerdale exit as Cains involvement in Joes death appears to have put a ticking timebomb on his time in the village – with the revelation all but set to blow up this Christmas time when truths are rumoured to come to light, will Cain be forced out by graham Foster as he seeks to protect his own back?
When Cain and Graham clash once more, it remains to be seen who will come out on top but actors Jeff Hordley and Charley Webb recently warned that it could be the end of Cain and Debbie as we know them when Debbie learns what he did.
Jane Hudson, the shows boss, also recently promised turbulent times ahead for two leading Dingle family members who could be ripped apart forever – but will the scenes see Cain and Debbie saying final goodbyes either by heading to prison or not being able to be around one another?
Or can they sort things out between them and unite against the common enemy which is deceitful Graham and the mastermind of Joes death which is Kim, who will return next year?
Whether this is the end of the road or just the beginning of a whole new turbulent journey, there are dramatic scenes still to play out.
