The 23-year-old actress joined the soap in 2015, and announced she was leaving in May earlier this year.
Appearing on ITVs Lorraine, Lucy confirmed when shell film her final scenes as Bethany Platt, explaining how it feels like the right time to leave.
So end of January I will leave Corrie but Ill be on the screen maybe until March, Lucy said.
Asked about leaving the soap, Lucy added: Oh its going to be horrible. When I leave Ill have been there for five years and it just feels like the right time.
Im going to miss everybody so much. I cant even properly think about it, but Im excited, Im nervous, well just see what happens.
Asked whether she could make an appearance on Strictly in the future, Lucy replied: I dont know.
I think Id like to focus on doing more acting, dramas and things, and maybe in the future I could do something like that.
Speaking about her departure on Twitter at the time of the announcement, Lucy wrote: After the most incredible four years, I have made the extremely difficult decision to leave Coronation Street at the end of my contract in 2020.
