These are the scenes which see the end of Ben Mitchell in EastEnders – but will he get away with the stolen money or will a determined Mel Owen stop him in his tracks and hand him over to Ciara Maguire?

Fans have known for some time that Harry Reid is departing his role as Ben and in the episode tonight, his mission to do a bunk with the cash stolen in the heist comes to a head at the port. Mel has tracked him down and already informed Ciara that she knows where the cash is.

As she follows Ben to the harbour where he plans to board a ferry, she watches closely as he furtively carries out his plan. But with her closing in, it seems that Ben isn’t going to escape without a fight as Mel is on a mission to bring him down and get that money back.
